Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I began losing my hair at about 27. I use to have the most incredible long thick hair with so many layers you would have thought it was all but impossible that I could lose it. One day while on a walk I saw a reflection of the back of my head in the car window. I couldn't believe it!! Me!! I saw a bald patch about the size of a tennis ball. Thats why there was all that hair in my shower! I continued to wear my hair shorter and shorter through the years. I was going crazy inside. I use to get so many compliments on my hair from women. All I could think was that I will never get laid again. I even went as far as visiting a place that made hair pieces. I thought even the best ones looked unnatural. I am an artist (musician Professional Bass Player) I could spot them pretty quickly. I was about 1 year into a relationship with my soon to be ex-wife. :( I decided to just buzz it off one night. I was pleased with what I saw. I have a perfectly round head! About one month later, I went and took the plunge into the razor. I was even more pleased. I have been doing it ever since. I was liberated from those dam commercials telling me I was losing my youth my power my you name it. I honestly feel not having hair has brought out a side of me that I didn't know existed. I began to see myself as I really am! I wasn't as shy. I ACTUALLY WAS NOT AS SELF CONCIENCE!! The pressure was off. I was free. Even though I am single again I never worry about what women may think of me. I truly feel that whether I have hair or not is of no consequence to my next mate. BTW.......I use the Gillette Fusion 5. I treat my head with Head Blade Gloss.

Yeah :: Welcome O:O

Great intro. I can relate to a lot of what you said. Having hair was such a set back for a while wasn't it? I feel like a better man.
Anyway... welcome again.

You've summed up what we try to get across here; once you take control the feeling is very powerful, as is the freedom that follows.
Enjoy the site!
