Months of agony, looking in the mirror, photographs, seeking the opinions of others... and all it took was to shave my hair off. I freakin' love it. It's liberating. No need to worry about hair cuts (well, in the traditional sense), bad hair days etc. I've had one american history x reference off some bozo, but a few compliments off girls that I've never spoken to, but are in my seminars.

Going bald but still on the fence?

Two words--

SHAVE IT.

Welcome to the bright side!  Glad you made the transition and ended the agony.  Most of us on this message board felt the same pain - and the same elation after shaving it off.   Its amazing how we build it up to be something huge and the reality is that once we take a blade to our heads we all step back and go "sheesh, that was easy -- why did it take me so long?" 

Welcome and way to get off the fence!

I cant agree more. First day out sly and boy do them women love it. I thought the shaved look wouldn't look good but I buzzed it anyway and it looked ok. Buzzed it to a #1 then 0 which was fine for a week but taking the razor to my head, it produced a completely different look. I went from looking ok with a buzz to looking 10 times better.

Yeah, it's hard to get through to guys that a buzzed look and a completely shaved look is completely different.
