Firstly I will start with a short introduction. I'm a 18 year old kid from Norway, and I have recently begun shaving my head the past moth. And clumsy as I am i have allready managed to cut my scalp a quite a few times. So I have a come here for help.
I wonder if the hair roots are severely damaged on the minor spots which has been cut. Will the hairgrowth on those areas go back to normal? My hairgrowth is rather rapid, so I notice quick that there a few spots here and there which lack hair if it grows out to 3-7 millimeters.
I am not sure if this question has allready been asked, so I will apologize in prehand. And I am sorry about the rusty English, and im not sure if I posted this in the right section, so sorry about that aswell.

Never heard of anyone cutting themelves shaving so bad that hair doesn't grow back in that area. Major lacerations needing stitches may do that, but unless you had to be rushed to the hospital and get stitches, I think you'll be fine.

Hehe ok . Thanks for the quick reply, and it hasnt been any need for stitching yet. The wounds have usually healed rapidly aswell.

You don't have to be clumsy to cut yourself occasionally. Those sharp blades seem to want blood sometimes :).

I've taken CHUNKS out of my dome--at least the blood implied a chunk. Not for a long time now, however, and I'll say that, to my observation, it did not seem to affect the growth of hair in the wounded spot. On the other hand, I see, usually on the backs of the heads of buzzed guys whose hair is still black, the occasional hairless spot. But I've always assumed that was not a "minor cut" (as a razor goes) but the scar resulting from something like a fall that led to the hospital and stitches when they were young. Don't worry. But stay off swings.

Welcome Kris. I too have taken a few good chucks out and had no problem with regrowth. You'll be fine. Just enjoy being sly. BTW, anywhere near Trondheim (sp) Was there some years ago and found it and Norway really beautiful

Hi Kris, same name as my son though spelled Christian. As for your head you should be fine unless your shaving with an axe.

Kris, your technique will improve, just take your time and make sure you prepare very well, hot shower, good lather or gel. And time--you'll get quicker as time goes on, and very rapidly it will become a very easy thing to do.
My grandfather's family is from Lunner, and I still have cousins who live there. We're planning to visit them in the next year or two.
