Hi everybody.  I hate to bore you with another "How I became sly story" but that is what this forum seems to be for, so here goes.

I'm 40 yrs old, been married to the same wonderful woman for lil over 18 yrs.  We have two great children, 15 yr old boy and 13 yr old girl.  I work in the construction field and play on the golf course.

I shaved my head for the first time three nights ago from a full head of hair.  As usual I found this site right after I finished, because I was looking for tips on how to do what I had just done.  I found so much info on methods, tools and materials that I went out the next day and found the headblade sport, bald guyz gel and moisturizer and headwipes.  I went after it again with the right tools and enjoyed the hell out of it.

I recieved a couple of tips fom my wife regarding burn and ingrown hairs which I'll share in another forum,

My only concern is about the crap load of skin tags I discovered on the back of my head, but again I'll adress that in another forum.

I have been reading your posts for the last three days and I'm very thankful to have a place to recieve so much useful info.

One question:
Go back to when you first became sly......Did anyone else look in the mirror, like, ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME???
I can't get enough of ME and my SLICK HEAD!!  O0

 My family's getting used to it.  My friends will like it or have to get over it,cuz I'm slick as snot and loving evey minute of it!

Congratulations Scott, and welcome to the forum! Get your head checked out by a dermatologist and any suspect growths removed and biopsied as soon as possible. Great to have you here!  O0

Well, you'll find that the urge to see your head gets better when you use any reflective surface, not just mirrors--dark windows, etc.  It's so nice, really.  Have you started rubbing your head? :/O  That's another thing that happens. ;D

I've been shaving my head for almost 6 years now and I still look in the mirror way too much.

Welcome!  I will hit my one year mark on Friday of this week.  I still check myself out in the mirror, car windows, CD's, and just about anything reflective.  It's hard not to, when we look so damn good!

Thanks for the warm welcome.  You guys are right.  I just noticed today that I am looking into anything that might be reflective so I could get a glimpse of my shiny noggin.  I am was cracking myself up.  And you are right Saint, if my hands are idle for a minute I find them on my head.  Being sly is a whole new world that I wish I would have joined a long time ago.

Another thing that we all share, never did get any compliments of the combover, I wasted at least 10 if not 15 years >:(.Oh well, can't worry about the mistakes of the past.
