I just want to start by saying it is great to find a forum that is current and not 5 yrs old (when mach 3 ruled, lol). I am new to the baldness thing but am bald by choice. I used to always shave my head with clippers down to 1/8" and then re-do it 8 weeks later. Then last week I decided what the heck let's go all out and did. Let me just say I love the new look I have !!! granted it is only an 1/8" less than the norm but hey it's is still different and new to me.

I hope to be posting on here like a mad man whenever I get a chance since I have many questions being a newbie and all.

Just want to finish by saying the "stubble" drives me bonkers and I can't wait to smoothen it out again

I currently use the fusion power but have tried electric razor with less than favorable results..... I think I am going to have to research the headblade even though I am leary on that product......

Once again great to be on board and I plan on being here for a long time

Post by: halffast on February 09, 2010, 07:26:41 PM: Well I wasted no time and took the plunge. I just ordered a headblade sport, a pk of replacement blades, 2 bottles of headslick and 1 bottle of the matte lotion (not sure of the name at the moment).

I should be experimenting with the headblade sport in 5-7 days :D could be crazy

As for the researching the headblade Tyler, I was on their website last night and watched the video and researched it somewhat.

I did go ahead and order it already :) so I guess when it gets here it will be trial and error (hopefully no error but probably :XX)

I do have one question (not sure if this is the post for it)..... what normal cartridges can I buy for the headblade or do they have to be their brand?

I am 100% sure that this is answered somewhere in here but I am sneaking this post in from work so I have to be "sly" and quick about it.

I did notice that someone had mentioned some sort of gilette mach razors? Maybe I am wrong.

If anyone can shed some light on it that would be great. I just got a costco membership and noticed they have mach 3 blades in like 50+ packs (I ended up buying a 16 pack of fusion instead (for my existing cartridge razor but go through a new blade on the fusion every two shaves and that will add up real fast money wise

Post by: bem75 on February 10, 2010, 01:33:52 PM: Welcome Mark. I am a Headblade user. I tried the Sensor blades and I did not like them. So, I switched back to the HeadBlade blades. They seem to work the best for me. I get a nice smooth shave.

Be careful, though. Take your time with the HB and don't put pressure on the blade. I've had some nasty cuts, when I was in a rush.

Also, check out Bald Guys Clear Shaving Gel. It works wonders for me.

Post by: Magoo on February 28, 2010, 09:42:18 PM: If there is any secret to using the Head Blade its no pressure on the blade.Because your hand is on top of the blade its very easy to press to hard.I found the doubles that came with it very good.I almost never cut myself with a regular razor,not so with H. B.
