I have already posted once or twice but thought to check in here.
My hair and I began to part company when I was 19 or so. I really didn't notice but others did. The hairline begin to recede from the sides and the top thin out. From there it was a quick transition. Each year I began to crop it closer and closer. In 1986 I actually shaved it but a Sergeant-Major at Fort Carson objected strongly and put a halt to that quickly. There was something about a burly white guy in cammo fatigues and jump boots that bothered him. After that I would crop it as close as I could without actually shaving it. When I rotated to a new unit overseas I was able to shave for a bit but since my job required me to blend in the local population I had to grow it out for while. My duties took me to Bavarian Germany and lo and behold shaving my head actually helped me to blend in.
Here I am now in Salem, MA, teaching people to stay fit and tending bar.

Thanks for the welcome.
The witches in Salem are a story unto themselves. You have to be be here to believe it. The whole thing has developed into a huge business and culture.
I was leading a 0530 boot camp for the YMCA until recently. The plan is to develop my own.

As they say in Bavaria, Gruss Gott (excuse the spelling).

Howdy, bud. I'm a proper Bostonian-in-exile in North Idaho. Truth of the matter is that we get back to Boston for three weeks every July. We have friends that live on the North Shore, so we get up into your neck of the woods when we're in town. So, welcome to the group.

Visit the Lobster Shanty in downtown Salem and say hello.
