Title: Why do we shave? Honestly
Post by: thebaboun on January 19, 2010, 09:57:47 AM: I have two reasons why I do it:

#1...It looks better completely shaved than a little velcro on my head.
#2....If I let my hair grow more than two days, I have more on the sides and I look more bald....but it still suits me well...However, I am not comfortable with looking more bald (even though it shows if you look closely when I am shaved)

I am curious to read your answers!

Longer answer? Because it eliminates all the "too dry scalp / too oily scalp" problems that I used to contend with, and having hair always made my head itch. That, and I look f***ing hot bald!! 8)

I hate looking like "Bozo the clown". My hairline didn't recede, It started thinning ontop. So, shaving it is my answer to look "normal" (LOL). Presently, its sad when I see a young guy trying to save/ utilize the bit of hair he has left when mpb begins to set in. "just shave it buddy!!" AND, nobody seems to mess with a guy with a nicely shaven head...

As I began to lose my hair on top, she kept cutting it shorter, until one day, sitting in the back yard, getting my hair cut, drinking a Keystone Light, (or two) out came the Gillette Foamy, and Mach 3, and she just 'whacked' it all off. And as they say, the rest is history.
