As much as I like the finished product, I really dig throwing on the HeadShed! I love the way it feels and smells. If I could eat it, I probably would. Though, I accidently got some in my mouth and it doesn't taste anything like it smells. :-\

For me I have to say the shave. I use HeadBlade products. I let the HeadSlick set for a few minutes before I start. It starts to feel nice and cool. As the blade runs over my head it feels really refreshing like an ice cube is being ran down my head. Ahhhhhh!! `dr**l `dr**l
Then again I haven't received my HeadShed yet that I've ordered. So I might end up going along with Tyler once I've given it a try.
-
I dig the finished product but the shave itself in a way is relaxing. I shave my head pretty much every day and it is just part of my routine and while I am focused on not scalping myself I am not thinking about all of the other millions of thoughts that are usually screaming around my brain.
Focus baby!

I like the whole process as it is a pleasant way to prepare for the day....
However, my favorite part is my last step of showering off the freshly shavin' bean with as cold of water as I can stand for 1 or 2 minutes.
-
Definitely the best for me is the finished product. Like that clean, smooth feeling when I am putting on the Clear Head and feeling nothing but skin. Tells me I am ready for the world that day.
-
I agree with Lance. The feeling of the Headslick is awesome. Also, I must admit the whole process of shaving the head is rather relaxing. I especially like the feeling after a shave if I go a day or two without a shave. In the nearly 3 months of being sly, I have truly grown to love the SLY look.
Have a good week everyone.

I can tell you that I definately mirror those toughts! The whole prep is fun, but to tell you the truth, the shave has always been my Favorite... It is strangely Relaxing. Focusing on yourself, the whole feeling... Its one of those simple pleasures. O0

Damn right! I love the finished product, but I LOVE to shave. I love the way the blade feels running across my head, so smooth, so clean.

I couldn't agree more. I just laid around and did nothing all day Saturday, I didn't even shave. It felt SO good to shave on Sunday. I've never went more than a day without shaving, but I like to do that every once in a while to give my scalp a break.
-
I'm normally in too much of a hurry to enjoy any part of the act of shaving, but I enjoy the result all day!

Dude, there is always time to take a little extra care when it comes to your head! O0

;D The best part for me is the last "feel over," the fingers telling me that I've razored every last hair on my scalp--achieved total smoothness. Regrettably, that lasts only five hours or so, then the assault on velcro must be re-commenced. You know what I mean. Professor Melon

That's it for me too... The headslick (what's left of it) with my wet hand going over my scalp and the other hand armed and ready to attack any sandpaper spots. Then after the rinse, clearhead and polish the next six or so hours of the awesome feeling of playing with my.... hehehe scalp. ;D

Definitely the finished product, being smooth and lickable.

Brother, I wonder where you find a woman that likes to Lick Head as well (The Scalp I mean ;) )... that sounds like a Forum right there "Women with a Bald Fetish.com" :*))

Not only is the finished product the best part but also the tingly, clean sensation that I get from using Headslick. Not too mention the feel of a bald head against a headrest and a pillow at night.
Keep it sly men!
p.s. Ain't it great to be bald!

I haven't. The only one who licks my dome is my dog.

The part I like the best is when I rinse my head with cold water right after shaving it.
-
I just started doing the cold water rinse after the shave. Although I only do it for a few seconds, it's pretty cool (pun intended). I just hope it does what it is reported to do (i.e. closing pores on your scalp).
-
I've been doing the cold water splash after reading about it here. I don't know if it's slowed my velcro in the evenings, but I do like the sensation. Wakes me up!

I'll second the wake-up, really gets ya moving!

A couple of things on this subject... First, a lot of you guys have said that you rinse in cold water for "as long as you can stand it". I don't doubt that but I wonder how long that is and how "cold" your water is. If you live in California or Florida or some other nice warm place and in a city, your water comes from a reservoir and the reservoir is probably above ground so how cold is your water? I ask this in jest of course but up here in northern Alberta we draw our water from 180 feet below the surface and it is frickin' cold! In reality "As long as I can stand it" is about 10 seconds.
But anyways and more importantly, the other day I forgot to do the cold water rinse and noticed that 10 hours after my shave I still had very little stubble. It was very slight and only in the most difficult places to shave super close.
Whether or not this was due to not rinsing in cold water or the odd time of day that I shaved, I do not know. But I do plan to do a study on this subject and will post the results.
How about some other guinea pigs for the study?
Maybe we can get government funding? The Canadian gov't is always looking for ways to waste tax payer money ;D
-
Definately the end result!
On (off) subject, i think I "enjoy" a shave in the afternoon or to go out for the night, best....somehow I end up feeling "balder" than the morning shave...I think I'm more aware of the fact that I don't have a hair on my head when I'm newly slicked, smooth and sly to hit the nightlife...
who am I kidding , when I shave to just go out to dinner!

I find myself smoother in the morning after an evening shave. Someone here once said that the fluids drain from your scalp by the end of the day and so the skin is thinner, allowing for a closer shave. Seems to be true for me.
-
I enjoy all of it, particulary coating my head with Headslick and running the Shick up the middle and sides of it. And then, of course, looking like a waxed bowling ball, bullet head after i get through with the Headlube
-
definitely the lather.
Its that anticipation of knowing that you about to lose the stubble.
Kind of like watching a draft beer being filled from the tap.

I have to agree with you there. I shave after my time at the weights, and I find that when I do that compared to those days on the weekend where I shave promptly [Rarely does this happen on the weekend] after I wake, the Shave is smoother, Longer.
-
For me, it's a tossup between that first stroke of the razor after I let the Headslick set in, and the finished product.
I dig the silky smoothness for the whole day.
-
Welcome Crash...
I have to say that I can only agree with you there! ;D
-
I only like the finished product. Shaving is a pain in the neck for me. I enjoy taking a day off once or twice a week. I'm always glad when it's over.
-
For me it's the end result. slick as I can be.......
but the process of shaving is all arround great.....mixing gel,Headslick, massage oil together..
and then shaving..
-
I shave head and face in the shower. When I'm done, I wash the head and face again with Dove soap. I love the slick feel of rinsing everything off and then following with a cold water rinse. Ahhhh!!!!!
-
DEFINITELY the finished product. man.... i luv the "baby bottoms" feel when i apply the after shave on my dome.
