I've been sly now for almost 8 months. I love shaving and wouldn't think about letting what's left up top growing back. For me, there haven't been many disadvantages to becoming sly. Here's where I insert the "But".
Either I have been, or am becoming more clumsy. Thus, leading to knocking my head against just about anything available. :Xo! If there's something sharp near my dome, rest assured I'm going to hit it and it's going to cut my head. I haven't had many (two or three) accidents with the blades from my HB, but I sure as hell have sliced up my head running into things. I just don't recall having this problem when I had a little hair up there. Anyone else run into this (no pun intended)?

When you had hair it was like a natural radar. Those things would hit your hair first and you would naturaly back off. Now your radar is gone so you have to be a little more aware of what's around your head. In time it will become second nature..... BUT I still whack mine pretty good now and then.

The Koz nailed this--it's something we all discover. Rental cars are my main issue--not being used to the doors, I hit and scrape the dome getting in and out all the time. I'm learning to be very careful :D.

yeah: I think we've all been there. Not so much lately, but now I've said that... :D

Yeah! Last week I had contact with my hacksaw in the shed in our backyard -ouch >:(

Just finished examining a fresh red welt on the very top of my noggin. Tinkering with cars is definitely dangerous for the dome. ::)

Worst I've had was a wopper from the top edge of the frame of an under the staircase storage closet--that sucker hurt and didn't completely heal for more than a week. Bummer.
Hmmm, maybe a beanie while doing "dangerous" chores?

Nope, it's the upper kitchen cabinet doors. Personally, I think they should all have rounded corners!

Have only hit the noggin once and it was a kitchen cabinet door - - -I am very careful - - -

I always find it funny how a bald head is considered to be a symbol for toughness when in fact - as WE all know - the bare chrome dome is so vulnerable.

I'm with Mike... it takes a while to develop your "sly warning system"! O:O

Been there, done that. :)
I shave off my proximity alarm so it goes with the territory.
