Title: Shower gel. Which one(s) do you use?
Post by: thebaboun on January 12, 2010, 06:19:42 PM: I used a lot of them: Zest, Irish Spring, Old Spice, Adidas.....Gillette

Old spice is good (especially the little bottle that has really turquoise liquid in it)...smells good after and does not seem to be bad for the skin

On the other hand, Irish Spring and Zest are terrible...does not smell that good and not so good for the skin...

Addidas is great...a simple shower gel and it feels good!
Gilette also is good

which ones do you use and prefer or dislike???? Do you also use the same shower gel until it becomes emply or you change every other day?!?

Post by: Dome of Steele on January 12, 2010, 11:14:40 PM: Just bar soap. I buy whatever. I think I have HEB brand soap (grocery store in Central TX), sometimes Irish Spring. I like the bar because I don't need to hassle with a loofah and there's less liquids to deal with when I travel.

I also use Dial for Men Hydrating Body Wash, especially this time of year when my skin tends to get dry.

Post by: D.A.L.U.I. on January 13, 2010, 08:37:16 AM: Just deoderant bar soap. I shampoo the beard, and use a little of the excess shampoo lather on my stubbly scalp & loopha it nicely. I do the same w/o the loopha w/ the conditioner, and rather than rinse the conditioner on my scalp, I leave it there for the shave right after the shower.

Post by: Rob on January 13, 2010, 11:53:34 AM: I use 'Simple' shower gel (not sure if that's available in US) and sometimes Adidas or Lynx, but I always go back to 'Simple' because it's the only thing that doesnt get my skin breaking out in spots and rashes. 8)

I wanted the citrus but all they had was the mint. Not overpowering at all and refreshing. O0

My wife saw it on the counter before I put it in the shower. She said, "What is THAT? Something you do when I'm not home?" ;D ;D

No darling, it's soap! LOL It is good stuff, very impressed.

I prefer soap and a wash cloth but some of the Axe stuff has granules in it which I kinda like. Ok, I guess I will have to try Every Man Jack since I too am intrigued

They also make bar soap which I like since I'm more of a soap guy than a body wash guy.
