Title: Tattooing missing hair
Post by: pdxtodd on December 28, 2009, 10:04:40 PM
I was half joking in a post that I made on another thread -- but came across this --> http://tattoosdayuk.wordpress.com/2009/06/21/a-new-use-for-the-needle-hair-tattoos/

I think the guy looked better before than the after.

Ta2Guy, I have to confess that I am not into tattoos at all, but yours is truly a piece of art!

As for that other dude, the "After" tattoo on his forehead isn't bad at all   :px.

Its amazing what ends people will go to - to have "hair" on their head.   Lotions, potions, plugs, rugs, and now tattoos.    I've done lotions, potions, and rugs - to the tune of $72,000 for rugs over the years + $100/month for years for drugs and potions.   The end result -- bald, broke, but finally happy with my condition.     Hopefully all of our postings out here will stop anyone thinking of going down the roads that most of the sly brethern have gone down.   I'm down to a couple of days shy of 30 days and so glad I made the decision.   I just wish I made the decision in June instead of December -- its cold!

They've been tattooing in cancer survivors eyebrows for years, results usually look pretty good too.

Can the color be changed as he grows older and the remaining hair turns gray? Is that what they call a rhetorical question?

It wouldn't be hard to blend some grey ink into it later.

You know...its places like, this that create insecurity within men that have MPB!  I wonder if they offer free touch ups in 20 years when he goes grey and the tattoo fades.

If you do that, you are also stuck with the exact same hair style forever! No chance of going sly!

I am all for cancer survivors getting eye brows tattoo'd back on as losing your eyebrows is not a natural part of life for the majority of people!

It seems there is a small group of people who seem to think this would be something smart to do, but it's not by any means, part of the majority here. I for one cannot understand why shaving is not good enough for some; especially the group who feel they need to wax or laser their heads!   :D
