For those of you that like some of the finer things in life, but are like me and don't want to pay full price, I'd like to introduce you to Gilt.com.  It's a site that allows you to buy high end fashions, wine, shoes, and other things for up to 70% off of "retail." For example, the other day they had DKNY shoes that normally run $200 to $300 for $52.  For those of you that are looking to upgrade your work and personal wardrobe, this will be a good place to do so and not break your bank.

I signed up and took a look, but its a bit too rich for my blood. (read: if i am going to pay $100 for a scarf, it had better give my wife the inability to say "not tonight, I have a headache.")

But I have to admit, the double breasted pin-stripe suit looks awesome for two reasons: 1) It just looks awesome and 2) You definitely get a Patrick Bateman vibe from it, and I dont think anyone will try to undercut you for fear of being cut.

Yeah, it's not the site for everyone, but the one thing that I don't mind spending good money on is good dress shoes.   And when I can get those good shoes for less than $100, then that's even better.

PeripheralxMvmnt, if you ever find a scarf or any clothing that gives your wife that inability, let me know.
