Title: Less Than 2 Weeks Away

Well, my SLY clock is getting close

The removal of the "rat" is scheduled for Tuesday night, Dec 22 and the family "unveiling" is Christmas Eve

The anxiety is dissapating, however, slowly

I have purchased my Jergens Extra Glow for tanning support (my head has not seen the light of day for 35+ years)

My wife is ready with the scissors (hopefully she focuses on my head)
and Mach Turbo 3

Hopefully, the screams will not reach your ears

Steve,

You should be very excited about the freedom that is right around the corner.   I understand your anxiety, but someday you'll look back on this and laugh about getting all worked up about nothing.  I was probably more worked up than most (ask these guys), yet my transition was completely uneventful.

The time has come to throw the rat in the garbage (I threw a whole collection of them in the garbage) and display your shiny dome proudly.

You're a better man than I.
If I gave myself that much time to think about what I was about to do I would eventually find a way to convince myself that it wasn't really all that important to begin with, or the family is really gonna be shocked and why ruin Christmas?, or I've been hiding under the rug for so long why stop now? What's the big deal?
I would have to just be totally impulsive and get it over with.
So kudos to you, dodger, for having the courage of your convictions.

Well, in reviewing some of the feedback, you sly guys have given me the additional confidence I guess I needed to shorten the window of becoming

I have decided (drum roll..most likely will be on CNN tonight after the Tiger Woods update) to "remove the rug THIS THURSDAY after dinner. It will be like dessert without the calories.
