Vespa 250.

Just kidding!  I ride dirt bikes, but don't currently have a bike.  There's a couple riders here.

I sold my Yamaha V-Star last summer when I moved to Michigan. The nice weather last week made me wish I would have kept it.

Next bike I get, if its anytime soon, will be the Harley Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special. Me like.

For shame... 150cc - No it's a 750... actually produces 100hp, out performs most speedo's but with that smooth cruiser and chrome style.

Welcome ESB, and just for the record I owned Virago 1100, but sadly I haven't got my bike licence, so as far as two wheels go I ride a Schwin OCC Chopper O0

I'm picking up a brand new 2007 Suzuki 650cc scooter this Thursday. This ride looks like a sport bike except from the side where you can see it has a step through area. Fully automatic, liquid cooled, fuel injection. Has a top speed of close to 115 mph. Also fairly large storage space under the seats.

I had ridden motorcyles for many years: Honda Dream 305cc, Honda crusier 250cc, Yamaha Seca 750cc and 2 Yamaha Venture Royals 1300cc. Sold my last Venture Royal back in 1991 to buy my son a used car.  :'( The things we do for our children. I've always kept my motorcycle endorsement on my driver's license, vowing that someday I would ride again. Have been drooling at every bike I've seen over the last 17 years.

Well, now I'm disabled and can no longer handle shifting gears with my foot. A local dealer had a tent sale this past weekend, and or course I had to go "just to look around."  A 650cc scooter that looks and performs like a sport tourer . . . Hmmmm . . . wonder if my retractable cane will fit in the storage compartment under the seats?  Yep! it fits! This ride weights close to 600 lb with a full tank of gas . . . can I support the weight with my left leg down? Yes I can!! Well, you know the rest of the story!  :@` And since I'm sly, no helmet hair.  O0

Darrell, that is awesome..  Glad to see you don't let a disability keep you from finding some way to get back on two wheels.  Have fun with your new ride.

I'm in the long process of trying to convince my wife to let me get a suzuki DR 650SE dirt bike. Her main concern is my safety from both the bike and from other drivers. Any suggestions to help me convince my wife. I've tried telling her they have great gas mileage.

Thanks,
Jim

Same here Paulie. I took my buddy's bike out for a ride not too long ago and that just fed the hunger.
