Title: Barber shop head and face shave

Had a head and face shave today.  The head shave was great.....straight edge for both.  The face shave wasn't as smooth as I could get myself but the barber said my hair growth pattern was hard to shave.  I think I can skip shaving my head for a day it was so close.  It took 2 hours total and included a scalp massage.  I will be in Las Vegas in a few weeks and will try a shave at Truefitt and Hill and see how they compare.  I definitely recommend everyone try it once.

Great report--best shave, though long before I needed to worry about the head was in Barcelona--didn't need to shave for 4 days.  Now a goal is to go back to that barbershop, off the Ramblas near the old square, and see what they can do on the dome.

I have to try that someday...Art of Shaving supposedly has a good barber spa

Two hours? Wow! Sounds like quite the experience. I'll have to try that some time.  8)

I forgot to mention after the head shave and head massage I got that just shaved your head for the first time numb feeling....I miss that...

I had a barbershop shave about 5 1/2 weeks ago, that took about 2 hours, it was a  straight edge head and face shave and message, my head was numb for about 24 hours

Where is this place, it would be a good stop on a trip obviously--that numb feeling, OMG, that would be worth it alone.  :)

The place is called Blade in Sacramento CA....I knew a few of you would appreciate that "numb" feeling comment....it really is the best

Damn, I went to boarding school in Sacramento, it's since closed, 21st & K, old Christian Brothers.  May have to go to a reunion just to get a shave!
