For those of you that have a BJ's Brewery near you, I'd like to pass on a little tip. First, I think their porter is one of the best out there. If you and a friend are planning on ordering the same beer it makes sense to get a pitcher. Their pitchers gave us nearly 6 pints and was cheaper than buying 3 individual pints. sweet...but I am not one of the fortunate ones to have one of those close by. So my three pitchers of Margarita's at Mi Pueblo last night sure went down smooth

The title reminded me of the song by psyco stick "beer is good"

I love that place. Great selection of Belgian beers too. Hit me up if you ever want to meet up there. Jennie and I go at least once a month.

Being an addicted Guinness fan, I am gonna have to check this out. Thanks Ty.

Fellow Guinness fan here but alas no BJ's Brewery around. Oh well guess I will have to stick with the original for now. I too love Porters.

Yeah, BJ's is a microbrew that I believe started in So. Cal., but I could be wrong. It's known for its beer and California version of Chicago style pizza (trust me, it doesn't compare to the real Chicago style, but it is good). I typically order the roast beef dip because it's one of the best you can get from a restaurant in my opinion.

Okay, we've got three or four of those around town, but they're stand alone. Great to sample each of the brew master's receipes. My favorite is the one attached to the Abita Brewery across the lake. Turbo Dog, a dark beer, is good, but Guinness draft still is the best thing going. I found some in Atlanta at the Coldbrew Sports Bar--really good, great to end the day.
