Yeah, I'm a new member, so I might as well introduce myself lol I'm 20 years old, ever since age 17 I started to loose my hair :( I started to loose the front part and I got a bald stop on top. Ever since age 13 I been cutting my hair real short ( around 2#- 4# clip all around), so when it started to happen I didn't really noticed, until I got a mirror behind me and another mirror in front of me. That's when I found out I started to loose my hair, I saw my bald spot on the back of my head :(
Anyways, around.... July, it was really hot around here (I live in Mexico), so I was sweating a lot and I tried to grow my hair, hoping that it would cover up a little bit of the baldness lol and I got my hair cut machine, so I randomly decided to cut it on #0 (I was bored), and all of a sudden, I saw myself looking pretty good lol but then in the corner of my eye saw my razor and the shaving cream.... I was up for an adventure, so I decided to shave it all off...
The thing is that it felt weird for me since it was my first time being completely bald. Thought it was funny at first, and at some point I liked it. Until then again, finding another mirror on the back and another mirror in front of me, I saw that I had a birth mark in the back of my head

So once I saw that, I wanted to grow my hair back again, but I really liked it, it felt good. So then I started to look for several disadvantages for it, I generally found three, that birthmark, I look like a gangbanger (specially since I live in a very bad area) and my big eyebrows lol

So, I was randomly thinking, what if I shave it again? I really felt comfortable with after a while except for those disadvantages, but well, the birthmark, I can probably easily hide it with a hat or something now that Winter is coming, the gangbanger problem, well I just have to make sure not to be outside very late so that the bad apples of my neighborhood won't see me, but then I was thinking, my eyebrows... idk, maybe I don't feel confident enough with them just yet. So basically, this long post is to ask people, do people with big eyebrows look bad bald? I really liked it that I didn't had to worry about my bald spot either, and it felt great, I mean, maybe its because I'm still young, but for me it is very stressful having a baldspot already! And being shaved completely took my mind of that, and it felt great while it lasted lol so idk, I'm mostly thinking about the birthmark too, does it look too bad?

Bald is good, birth mark is a non-issue--don't worry about it I have a scar from a skin cancer and no one has ever even mentioned it in over two years.. Gang implications, that's outside my area of experience, but maybe a hat at night? It's cultural I think. I was in the DF last year and w/ my bald head I had to show ID to get the 60 year old free entrance to some of your wonderful museums--so I guess I didn't look too threatening to them, not to mention older ;D, nor did I have problems at night at some really great restaurants or getting a cab later--so my bald head didn't threaten anyone, nor did anyone threaten me or my wife. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and have a great time, which we did. So like I say, my experience doesn't permit me to really understand the gang part.

The look fit's you. Thick eyebrows? Don't see it, looks normal (whatever that is) to me and, the birth mark? Like Saintc said, non issue. You have a birthmark, I'm fat, someone else is/has something else, so what. If you stay with a shaved head, you'll never have a bad hair day!!! :)

I have a birthmark on the back of my head, just a bit smaller than yours. I have never had anyone comment on it. If I do say something to someone about the birthmark on the back of my head, the normal response I get is "I didn't even notice". The bald look definitely fits you.

Thanks for the responses you guy! I am planning on shaving it during the winter, at the time we can wear hoodies and stuff all the time, so that not many people will see me (for a while) until I build enough confidence to come out with it lol but meanwhile, I am planning on starting to cut it shorter (maybe like a #1 or #2 clip all around) because my hair falls down less often like that... then maybe I'll cut it with a 0 too or something instead, I have yet to make up my mind for it yet lol
and the gang thingy, well hopefully I'll move out once we sell the house, that way we have money to buy somewhere else closer to my school (which is a nicer area), but the thing about them is that well, my favorite colors in clothing happen to be "gang" related, hopefully nothing will happen since they have been getting arrested (thank god lol) just hope they dont go after me lol
but yeah, we usually treat tourist real nice so that we can have them come back soon... we can't afford to be all mean with them when the economy is the way it is lol
and i agree with Big n Bald, no bad hair day! O0 I really hate it that since I'm loosing my hair, I have this "hump" in the back of my hair and that part is always.... smaller, than the rest of my hair, since it appears to be growing slower or something :(

You look legit man! Congrats haha. If I even noticed your birthmark I wouldn't think anything of it. It's pretty inconspicuous if you ask me. As for the eyebrows---yeah i donno what you're talking about haha they're normal. Definitely nothing to worry about.
I guess the gang issues could be a problem but I really have no idea since I live in an area where that's (mostly) a non-issue. But I'd assume that as long as you don't look the part in other ways (clothing, demeanor, etc.) you'll be fine.

Welcome memo. The others have hit the nail on the head. So long as you like being sly, don't worry about the birthmark or eyebrows, they're non issues.

Welcome to the Forum Memo!
Your birthmark is really a non-issue. Many of us have dents, birthmarks, scars, etc. and none of that stuff is a big deal.
Your eyebrows are fine and you look good shaved.

Memo, welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join this happy group. Eyebrows? I would give anything to have thick ones. I even went so far as to have hair transplanted to mine. You couldn't even see the fuzz that I had. The birthmark,
like it has been said, so what! Imperfections are what make us who we are. We may not like them personally, but then again, we are our own worse critics. Your look is fine. Run with it and be proud.

Thick eyebrows are an advantage when you shave your head. Having no eybrows looks weird. I hate to say it but I live in Los Angeles and I appreciate the gangbangers for shaving their heads. I realize that being mistaken for a gangbanger can be dangerous on the one hand, but because so many kids do it, it makes the sly look commonplace/normal/acceptable... and the hynas dig it!

No problem. About that birthmark, I had to check out your picture many times before I understood what you were talking about. I had a bithmark that looked like a round bullet-hole. I had it removed, it can be done but it leaves a scar. I preferred the scar.
Thick eyebrows complement your look.

Birthmark? Out of sight, out of mind! I've got one, too (not quite so big, but there it is), and since I never see it, except when checking the back of my head for slickness, post-shave, who cares?
A suggestion: some facial hair to complement the eyebrows. As you can see from pix of many of the posters here, a goatee and mustache are very popular.
