Wouldn't think with socialized medicine our northern brothers would have much to be thankful FOR ;D     Happy Thanksgiving, non the less.

Healthcare from the cradle to the grave sounds pretty good. The 50 million Americans without any health insurance might agree.

Hey Tom, thank you for remembering your Canadian friends.   O0
Thanksgiving was great but too short.  I am back in school already and
it can be stressful at times.
By the way, everyday should be a thanksgiving day.   Everyday we must
be thankful for everything we have.   For it's only when you lose something
that you begin to really appreciate it.   I have had a few of those cases in my
life that truly opened my eyes and now I am thankful for what I do have.

Cheers.

Better than Thanksgiving in Oct is Boxing Day on December 26th...it would be great to have a 2-day Christmas holiday.  And "August Long Weekend"...it's the only month without a special holiday so they have a 3-day weekend just for the heck of it....at least that's what I think it is.

Seems our Canadian friends know how to do it.

We have a 10-day holiday here in Iowa every August, it's called the Iowa State Fair.
