Post by: PeripheralxMvmnt on September 17, 2009, 06:30:29 AM
Hey guys, I received this tip in an Instructables newsletter. The comments say that it works, but I havent tried it. Figured Id at least share it if it does. If anyone tries it, let us know how it went!

It probably works. Just like stropping an old timey straight razor like our Grandfather's used to use.

it might, but it might be the same deal as the sav-a-blade, in that it only strops one side, not both. im due for a shave, so ill test it out and report back.

...it only strops one side, not both
And there you have it.

How many times have you seen any old timer strop a straight razor on only one side?  How about sharpening a knife on a whetstone...gotta do both sides.  I've gotta call a :bs: on this one.
