Merkur Futur Razor is a really higly rated razor but ive never herd or read of anything saying it can be used for head shaving? i was just wondering if anyone uses this razor or knows if it can b used on the scalp?

well shaving with a DE razor is alot different and willl probably take some time to adjust and get used to, this razor also has the reputation of being an "aggressive" razor, so if you have sensitive skin at all, this might not be the best choice

You could get a de from ebay(I gone mine for $9) to see if you like shaving with one before spending all the casy on a new one. I am intriqued by the Merkur Futur Razor though.

i used the Merkur Vision and to me it is not recommmended because you can easily cut the heck out of yourself with the de blade

I use Merkur DE for more then 10 years by now

It's not easy at first, but after a while you'll find right angle of the blade ( it's adjustable )and you are right in the business.
And, man, those blades are lasts forever :o
