Title: How long does it take for hair loss to return after chemp?

I had put up the same question in caring.com (http://www.caring.com/questions/how-long-does-it-take-for-hair-loss-to-return-after) for expert advice. I am very apprehensive. However, I need more suggestions so that I can atleast try to control my anxiety.

Please advise.

Post by: Mikekoz13 on September 14, 2009, 08:49:00 AM: I have a good friend that went thru chemotherapy a little over a year ago. Once the treatments were over his hair came back within a couple of months.

I'm not sure if that's the norm but it is what happened in his case.

the balder you get from it, the better its working. thats what they told my sister.

One of my coworkers had chemo and all her hair grew back a few months after the last treatment. My mom went through the same and I remember the same outcome. Best wishes to you and hope everything is ok. I just had a brain aneurysm operation so I know it's a tough road to go down, so hang in there!
