How long does it take for hair loss to return after chemotherapy?
I had put up the same question in caring.com (http://www.caring.com/questions/how-long-does-it-take-for-hair-loss-to-return-after) for expert advice. I am very apprehensive. However, I need more suggestions so that I can atleast try to control my anxiety.
Please advise.
Regards,
Madison

Welcome Madison. Hope your treatments go well. I'm sorry but I don't have the answer as to how long it takes for hair to return after chemo.
Hopefully someone can give you the info you're looking for.
Good Luck!

I have a good friend that went thru chemotherapy a little over a year ago. Once the treatments were over his hair came back within a couple of months.
I'm not sure if that's the norm but it is what happened in his case.

I've know a couple of women who've gone through it, and once the treatments are over it starts coming back--theirs had a different texture though, but it looked fine. Good luck, we're all in a sense bald in support of you. O0

I can't answer your question but I do want to wish you well. Try not to worry about the hair loss; it's not important in the overall scheme of things. The only thing that matters is getting well. Take care.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Madison ... My sister in law had chemo and her hair came back in a few months, and it came back looking very nice.

Hi Madison
One of my coworkers had chemo and all her hair grew back a few months after the last treatment. My mom went through the same and I remember the same outcome. Best wishes to you and hope everything is ok. I just had a brain aneurysm operation so I know it's a tough road to go down, so hang in there!
