Just wanted to remind everyone that Walgreens (in Georgia anyway) is still getting rid of a lot of their HeadBlade products at clearance prices. I've been hitting everyone around Atlanta buying up what I can.
I've picked up 15 boxes of the Head Wipes and saved around $75.00 or so.
**HeadShade (spray suncreen SPF15) $2.19 bottle (usually $9.99)
**HeadLube Glossy $2.19 bottle (usually $8.99)
**HeadBlade Head Wipes $2.19 box (usually $8.99)

I envy you.. I read this and ran to 3 different Walgreens today.. I got there and they were just selling HeadSlick
@ $7.99.. In all 3 stores they just kept 2 bottles in stock.. That was about it.. No wipes, Nothing more.. Oh well..
-
If you can find the deals, stock up!
-
as long as they keep selling Headslick, I'll be happy.

I am on my way...gotta love any way in fighting a recession! O0

Unfortunately, it's hit or miss. I've been to countless Walgreens around Atlanta and some have a large selection of various Headblade products and others (like yours) only have the headslick.
Good luck!

As long as they keep carrying both the HeadBlade and HeadSlick, I will be happy!

I can't find any type of wipe anywhere. I could out my local CVS over a month ago (one package Bald Guyz) and they have still not restocked. I am resorting to hemorrhoid wipes since all they are is soft cloth soaked in witch hazel.

Walgreens is very scientific about which hair care products they carry in which neighborhoods. While this makes sense that you aren't going to sell relaxers where there aren't a lot of black folks or shampoo for blonde highlights where there are, I wonder if that means that some computer at Walgreens could tell you which are the most sly neighborhoods in America.

That would be a interesting survey! Maybe we could get Todd Greene from HeadBlade to let us know what parts of the country are the most Sly!

Well, I am a self-proclaimed a**hole, so it is only appropriate that I use them for my head. :) And they are cheaper.

Most chains are. My town has two Piggly Wiggly's. Vast difference in the merchandise since they are in two entirely different socio-economic areas.

I think Walgreens was clearing out all of their HB products except for the HB, HB blades, and HeadSlick. I know that a couple weeks ago I was able to get some HeadWipes for 2 bucks, and now all the stores in my area are down to just the HB, blades and Slick.

Knowing what to stock--it's the talent given only to retailers. If they don't have the talent, they go broke, unless they're a US carmaker of course >:D

A heads-up to all my fellow sly HB'ers in the lower 48: You can still find the HeadLube Glossy on clearance in some Walgreen's stores. If you're lucky you might even find a stray bottle of HL Matte kicking around. If you find a bottle of Matte, be sure to ask the manager to check the price to see if you can get it at the clearance price listed for the Glossy. A couple weeks ago I went to get the Matte, but it rang up regular price so I didn't bother. I went back today and the same bottle of Matte was still there, so I asked the manager and she found out that yes, the Matte is at the same price as the Glossy.
Happy HeadLube Hunting my friends!
