hello fellow chrome domes: i have a very good friend who went thru an ugly divorce. i guess U can say that all divorces R ugly. thank GOD that i have a wonderful and beautirul wifey. :@`
anyways... my friend has this funny bumper sticker that reads: the #1 reason for divorce is marriage. O0

Mine wasn't ugly at all. It was a mutual agreement with no negative words spoken. Guess I was fortunate.

At a wedding I once asked--after a few drinks--the bride's father, a friend who is a divorce lawyer, "How many divorces do you have to do for a wedding like this?" >:D He's never forgotten that.

Mine was so nasty, I should've stayed married to her! I would like to get one of those bumper stickers though.

Before I went on the bench, I did a lot of family relations work. We always had a saying:
Do you know why divorces are so expensive? Because they are worth it!!
I know = kind of sick but after 20 years of doing divorce work you have to find some humor. Unfortunately, when you represent people in divorce court, you are dealing with people at what is normally the worst time of their life. It's always worse if children are involved.
