Hey so im 21, turning 22 in october, and been dealin with a bad widows peak style hairline since high school. and well today i finally got tired of looking at my bad hair setup so i took out the clippers and buzzed it all off. only thing im worried about is what people are gonna think. what do you guys think?

You did the right thing. The widow's peak look is not a good one, once it progresses beyond a certain point. Unfortunately, it's easier to see that in others than it is with yourself and most of us stick with that look far longer than we should. You're lucky to have gotten with the program early in life. Trust me, you've saved yourself years of agonizing over it.
It can be a little awkward being bald at a young age, but there's a huge payoff a few years down the road. I know what it's like to be the first guy in your circle of friends to go bald. But in a few years' time, many of those full heads of hair won't be so full anymore. They'll start looking a lot older, while you'll look relatively the same,provided that you keep yourself in good physical condition.

Welcome to the site. Who cares what other people think the main thing is what do you think. Do you like it? Does it make you feel good? Then go with it. Make yourself happy first then others will come along.

So im on i think week 3 of bein sly and shaving it slick style. Its actually pretty sweet, i got my first headrub by a chick for i swear 5 minutes she just couldnt stop ahaha. and my closest friends think its cool, i get a wise crack from other friends every now and then but its all in good fun. one thing tho, if im not smilin which i pretty much am most of the time they say i look intimidating lol. ahh this sly thing is almost too much fun. Thank all you guys on this forum, this place got me to actually take the hair off, the first time i must of stood in front of the mirror for 10 minutes before i took the plunge, but im soo glad i did. if your young and losin your hair just dump it off youll be glad ya did. I am.

I had a full head o' hair when I decided to go sly. It's been just about a week and to be honest, I LOVE IT! Tossed my comb & brushes into the trash and haven't looked back since.
Who gives a hoot what others think? As long as YOU are happy that's all that matters. Besides, everyone else will get used to it and if not, they'll live!
