Title: Question for sly dads
Post by: Razor X on August 22, 2009, 02:55:42 PM
From time to time we hear from guys whose sons want to shave their heads to be like Dad.  Just wondering if anyone here has a son who actually did it?  It seems like the pendulum has swung way back in the other direction; all the teenagers I've seen lately have shaggy mops like I haven't seen since the 70s.  A year or two ago they were all begging their parents to let them shave their heads.

Yeah, man.

Shaved heads is so.. 2 years ago.  Now it's long hair like the Jonas Brothers.  My son has his hair pretty long.  My step son, however, has always had his hair fairly short.  He is in pee-wee football and they were all sportin mohawks for the summer.

My son is 12 years old and has what is basically a Marine cut. In our town all the wrestlers have either Marine type cuts or Mohawks...... no Mohawks in this house...so my son loves the Marine cut and insists on a haircut about every three weeks.

He looks very handsome and mature with it..................

He tells the girl that cuts it "Higher and Tighter please!".

Good for him.   O0  I expend trends to come and go, especially among teens and pre-teens but some of these kids today look a real mess -- not so much because their hair is longer, but because they look so disheveled.

My son is 6 and we buzz his with a 3 I think, but he hates it spiky.  I tease him about shaving it off like dads.  "NOOOOO"  he says.
