What are your thoughts? Are you glad he is back in the NFL or are you tired of hearing about this retirement/unretirement, will he/won't he mess?
As for me, if he can play - fine. If he can't - go to Mississippi and enjoy your family.
The sports media acts like this is the second coming and I think Favre likes the attention.
I wish him luck but I guess we will see.

I was not so secretly hoping that the plane would be devoid of passengers and crew and be located in some remote field somewhere after a large fireball. I just wish the drama queen would make up his mind and retire or shut the hell up.
-
If he can play fine. If he can't, it would seem this is all for the money and where did it all go? Kiln, MS isn't a real retirement hotspot.
-
Seems like he'd be able to get on doing color...lots of cash and no crash.
-
I think his ego is too big for that. Imagine the disappointment next year when the Vikes don't make it to the Super Bowl. Everyone up here is already saying it is a lock-in that we are going. Suspension of disbelief wins again. Maybe we should make Michael Vick an offer while we are at it. I am just not looking forward to the next several months of drama splattered across every minute of news.
-
He's an idiot... Personally, I'm tired of the drama surrounding him. Just retire and be done with it or don't retire and keep playing, just make up your damn mind!
-
Him going to the ViQueens is a slap in the face to all Packers fans !!!
I hope Green bay annihilates Minn with extreme prejudice this year.
-
Favre has become a caricature of himself. What a shame that he could have retired as one of the best QBs ever and now he is basically a joke.
He has done this for 5 years now.....shame on the teams that are catering to him..........
-
i wish him well but i got nauseated each time the media reported his "up to the minute" decision. >:( :x!

Thought this site was a hilarious but brief commentary on the ongoing saga. http://www.isfavreretired.com/

As a Viking fan I can only see this as a circus-like distraction to what looks like an otherwise successful season
-
I think he is successfully creating one of the most ridiculous circus acts of the NFL. IF Vick wasn't bad enough, you have this guy making and creating more drama to a MAN'S game than any man ever to play. In his day, he was one of the greatest! But, there comes a time in life when you have to realize that you aren't that 20 something or 30 something guy anymore. He refuses to accept that. Next thing you know, Toys-R-Us is going to be using him as their spokesperson.
Let a good thing live, is what he should have done. But now he has totally destroyed his credibility. No one wants to remember your best days when you intentionally didn't give them a chance to do so.
-
I don't know about anybody else but I am getting tired of the Brett Favre saga.
-
I wish him the best, the guy just wants to play football, can you blame him?
Of course the media is going to pick it up and spin it as much as it can, there's nothing odd about that, they do it in every category, every subject. That's the way it is today.
Regardless of what he does now, he still has all he has accomplished and that can't be taken away.
I like his can do attitude, and I'm sure he'll know when it's time to give it up.

We'll have to wait and see ghost. Guys do that all the time, look at MJ.
It's what they know and what they love, can't knock 'em.
