hey guys. i wanted to post and ask how often you guys let people touch or rub your head. i offer it to women every once in awhile---they love it. i use it as an icebreaker, a good luck charm, and just a general feel-good thing. i let men touch it too, when i'm cool with them, just having fun. it also seems to help me be less self-conscious about my MPB, as it deliberately draws the attention to it instead of pretending it's not there. my confidence in myself and my shaved head eradicates any 'cue ball' or 'mr. clean' jokes. what is your personal head-rubbing policy?
-
That is what head wipes are for. I let them touch it all they want. For the first week, I secretly pocketed away $5 for each new person that touched my head without asking for permission first so that I could donate it to a friends Breast cancer 3-Day Walk. Ended up donating $100 which was my cap. I am getting to the point where I don't notice half the time that someone comes up and gives it a rub. It is becoming like a handshake. :) I just keep the wipes handy so I can keep it clean periodically.

Being a fat guy...I often get the "Hey Budah, can I rub your head for good luck?" thing. I'm usually happily oblige them...but then I use a wipe (when they're not looking) to get rid of their germs (unless of course they are cute).

It doesn't really bother me if people rub my head. Honestly don't mind it a bit.

I dont mind the ladies giving my head a rub, as most only want to see it it is as smooth as it looks, But the guys never ask to rub but ask why i shave it etc.
The bonus of going sly is attention from the ladies , but my wife would not like to much attention shown to me.
But the more rubs you get the less you may have to shave as they might rub any stubble off.

I'm pretty much okay w/ it--although the wife is never one to do it--I get a little uncomfortable when guys do it--I don't know why just do.

I get head rubs all the time. To be honest, I only get a little uncomfortable when I guy I do not know does it. Its all cool though, just dont make any weird comments when you rub it. lol

I've gotten several head rubs but its usually the old ladies at church. Hey...if it makes their day, who am I to stop them!

I never get head rubs.

I never really get head rubs(I'm a bit of a hermit) ....but my policy is...ladies don't have to ask, men....maybe....ahahha

The ladies can when ever but I used to be a little weirded out by the guys doing it. The more I thought about it I realized that in my case it helps people not look at me like I'm a monster, most people are afraid of me, because of my size, until they get to know me.

Nobody touches this head unless they're cute ladies.
-
I don't like to encourage people touching it because people seem to assume that it will be soft like any other piece of hairless skin, but my scalp is incredibly oily and often has enough stubble to feel like sandpaper. How normal is it to have a head greasy enough to fry chicken? I even leave oil spots on smooth surfaces when my scalp touches it. And the sandpaper? I've gotta say, I'm really getting tempted to try tweezing. I just saw a guy today who looked to be around my age, but had a bald head that was shadow-free.

Head rubs or touches by ladies is nice. I have a nice head rub from a woman at my high school reunion. I have not had head touches from guys without asking first. That usually happens if the guy is already balding and asking about head shaving. So in that context, it is ok.
