Title: Super smooth after a 2 day break. Why is that?

I just shaved my head after 2 days of neglect and, like always, I got an extra good shave.  It felt smoother and I seemed to have less of a shadow.  Why is that exactly?  Does the razor get a better grip on the hairs or something?

yep - I've always  notice the same thing.

It's the only benefit of missing a day every now and then

Really.... it's one of the Great Mysteries of Life......... sort of like the building of the Pyramids. Nobody can really explain it....... ;)

Funny, I just went thru this. My daughter's soccer team had an out of town tournament over the weekend. I didn't bother with the shave kit. Two things I noticed...one was that the itching from sebhorreic dermatitis comes back quickly and the really good shave after skipping a couple of days (first thing I did after unpacking at home....shower and clean up the dome).

Man, it's good to be sly!
