Title: New and just bought my first Wahl homecutting system

Hi all, I just wanted to say thanks to all on this site.  I found this site a couple of days ago and began thinking of shaving.  Today I went to Walgreens and picked up the Wahl system a moment ago, getting ready to do it!  I have always had a massive amount of hair but really needing a change.  I will let you know how it turns out!!  Thanks again for letting me lurk and read all the posts prior to joining.

I just took the first round of photos after using the 1inch guide.  Not sure if I should be using the guides at all though but worried I may cut myself LOL

I will keep going.

You should video tape it for posterity.  (Dating myself with that terminology, I know.)  :)  To conserve on server space, you can create a Picasa account or Flickr and post the pictures there.  Then just post a link to them in a reply to the forum.

Let me know how the Wahl works for you.  Not sure it will give you that really slick skull though.  For that you need a razor.

Wahl clippers without the guard will really get it down close.

Totally FINISHED!!!!!!!!  Smooth as my butt was when I was born!  I feel reborn and full of life, cannot wait to now lose a bit of my beer belly!  I am going to post pics in a few, having people get used to my new look!  LEt me know if I am one of those ugly bald guys i heard about in an old post.

I love THIS!!! I have the photos but need to shrink them.  Battery almost dead.  I cannot wait to try my new self with the ladies!!!  :)

Ok I have taken many pics but all seem too large to fit on this site.  Does anyone know or could recommend a place to post those pictures?
