Title: UFC 100 Lesnar, GSP, some big fights tonight
Post by: Dome of Steele on July 11, 2009, 11:34:42 AM
Anybody gonna watch this one?  I'm too busy at the moment, but any thoughts guys?

I think Mir might take out Lesnar, and I always have to back GSP for the welterweight title.

I'm thinking Lesner might pull this one out.  He's improved a ton.  I don't think I'll get to watch it since I'm going to a wedding tonight.  GSP should get him for sure.

gsp fought a damn good fight. lesnar is a dumbass. he needs to learn that he is not in the wwe anymore. all the shiit talking is annoying. all his big ass did was hold mir down. can you tell i don't like lesnar? all in all i was disappointed with the fights last night. i am just glad i didn't pay for the fights. went watch them at the sports bar.

GSP is unstoppable. He's got insane balance, thinks quick, has perfect timing and very elegant movement. As for Lesnar, yea, he can be an ass. He's got some attitude problems that need to be adjusted. He should fight Shane Carwin, that would be a match I'd love to see. Bisping also got brutally rocked by Henderson. That will probably be knockout of the year.

I was too busy to catch it, I'm gonna try to watch them on the net tonight if I can find them.

I for one like Lesnar, he might not be technical, or have ninja like cat quick moves and he has an attitude problem to be sure.

But he's big and brutal as hell. And that's enough to make it entertaining for me.

I cared less about the outcome with the Lesnar/Mir bout, I am however glad that Henderson knocked out Bisping with his anvil of a right hand, Henderson is the epitomy of a professional fighter, Humble has alot of tact and bearing and just leave his hands for the talking, He pretty much shut bisping up and brought back to reality. Lesnar is a fighter but he acts like a total baby huey, you wanna throw tantrums and the tell the whole world off thats fine, but I think he should do it in the WWE.

I think the card pretty much went as excepted.  I would say the big shock was lesnar's performance post fight...  :/  Anybody else wonder if that boy needs lay off the "special liquid vitamins?"

His despicable act would have thrown out any other so called fighter. But of course Dana White is just gonna slap him on the wrist because the bottom line it's all about money and that is one of the big reasons why I have stopped watching a majority of the ufc bouts, count on me watching Machida, Silva, Henderson and Carwin, yes ufc has some ofthe best fighters in the world but so does other affiliations.

Speaking of Shane Carwin, may he strike Lesnar down.

Great link ShadowSide, thanks for posting. I hope Carwin will take out Lesnar, he definitely deserves a shot at the title. Fedor Vs. Brock would be one hell of a fight that I'd love to see and would be worth every dime. Brock can use his tactics and lay on people, but as for Carwin and Fedor, I highly doubt that will help him.

Carwin has the biggest hands and there like stone.
BTW the Fedor/Barnett fight is next month, Barnett is no slouch but Fedor is just scary!

Watched it at my boss' house. I had expected Lesnar to take Mir out. Not a big surprise. Have to agree that the best fight was Hendo knockin' Bisping out cold. Bisping had it coming after all the trash talk. That's the great thing about Hendo, like Shadow said, he doesn't talk a lot of trash. Just lets his fists do the talking in the octagon. Gotta respect a man like that.

Yea I read that in the link. 5X gloves is so big, that's the size of my head I think, scary. Definitely have loads of respect for Henderson, he's an awesome fighter.
