ok guys, I've been lurking on this site for a long time trying to figure out whether or not to take the plunge.  My story: I'm 32 years old and have been dealing with a receding hairline since 17.  After several years of putting up with "hair club" jokes I finally decided it was time and last week did the deed and haven't looked back.  So far so good after the first week with the headblade and daily shaving both with & against the grain.  Reactions at work and at home have been very favorable, wearing a buzz cut (#1 blade) since 21 probably had something to do with it....only two "jaw dropping" reactions so far.  This site has been a good resource in my quest for baldness and wanted to say thank you to everyone....

Ok - it's been about 2 weeks since your initial post.  How are you feeling about being sly now?  Pretty damn good I bet.  

Took me about 2 weeks for that self-conscious feeling to go away.  Now after 9 months, having hair would feel just as strange.
