Well I did it today.  Got my DL renewed and guess what...Im bald until April 3, 2015....woohoooo!

I just got my license renewed in Illinois yesterday.  I can't be officially bald in Illinois, 'cause thay've taken hair color off the driver's license.  It only lists eye color.

Dang Red! That's just not right!! Last DL I got was a few years and at the time I was mostly just cutting as close as I could with a trimmer. IE I looked like I was bald and what hair was left was totally grey. I inquired how they do that and I was told that they go by your last liscence!! I don't know what that means to my wife who gets her hair colored 3 or 4 times a year, nearly always changing colors.

I just got my license.  The lady wouldn't let me change my hair color to bald...argh!  Though, my picture is bald.

When the lady got to the question of hair color, I asked what were my options.   She said, well looks like you do not really have any options...You're bald.  So in the hair color spot it says BAL  for Bald.  lol

I was disappointed at my recent renewal.  Althought the question is on the form, it doesn't show up on the license.

What's up with that?

I'm bald in mine until 2015, but they did not remove hair color.... they said only if my hair loss was permanent, or if I had permanent hair removal.   :Xo!

My license still shows me with a "full head of hair" ;) until February 2010.

I get a renewal in October, and after my run in w/ TSA it can't come soon enough.  I've got several site security passes from clients showing me sly, and the most recent TWIC showing me sly and bearded.  Just the license showing me with a hairline that starts half way back on my head--what was I thinking?  Louisiana doesn't show hair color either, I don't remember if they ask you at the counter.  After October, the only ID w/ "hair" is my passport.

I just got mine renewed in IL last weekend.  The girl at the counter looked at me, chuckled, and asked my hair color.  My response "it was brown", then she chuckled again.  Not sure what was so funny about it.  But then it isn't printed on the license anyway.  I was hoping it would list hair color: bald or even better "sly".

the peole at the DMV must hate when guys come in with shaved heads haha. it messes up their whole "system" lol.

Good point Ghost !  You think our states and government could spend less taxpayer dollars on stupid stuff like "hair" on DL or Passports and just list hair as "optional" ?  Now your DL is scanned (in Michigan at least) for medical record ID's
 as well !

btw i could have sworn it was called the BMV? where did the D come from? lol.

im pretty sure its the Bureau of Motor Vehicles?

Some states it is "Department".  In Minnesota, it is the Department of Public Safety or some stupid thing like that.  No offense to the natives.

o ok that makes sense then. around here its called the BMV. "bureau of motor vehicles" thats why i was confused.

She's back to work now.  Still complaining of chest pains every couple day but not as severe as before.  Burr oak is still swarmed with media and FBI.  They are digging up graves that aren't in the right spots to try and get some DNA or something.  I don't see it ending anytime soon.  The only downfall is those damn helicopters waking me up in the morning

Here in Hawaii my photo was abald one last year but beard was grey, so that was the hair color printed. We should lobby for universal DL terminology, ie, Hair Color: tan, freckled, white, shadow, faint horseshoe, etc. etc..
