Title: 10 days and counting...
Post by: dawgfan on June 01, 2009, 02:45:22 PM: We'll, it's been 10 days since going sly and I couldn't be happier. I used to joke around about loosing my hair, you see I was bald until I was 4. Then, in my early 20's started to loose my hair. I always thought God was playing this aweful trick on me. Since going sly, I see he was just showing me the way! 8)

I do have to give everyone here a ton of credit for helping me in my decision. I found out about this forum once I "googled" the word "headblade". I got this recommendation from an aquaintance who has been sly now for several years. Anyway, thanks to all of the great advice from other members I have come up with a shave routine that suits me best...so far! Like a lot of other members here, I found myself noticing a sh*t load of other sly guys in public, once I pulled the trigger.

I almost feel like a member of this really cool cult! But instead, I now realize it's much more like a family.

Great way of putting it. It takes a while sometimes to be able to see hair loss as a blessing. It's not something most of us are happy about in the beginning but an experience I wouldn't want to miss. I would never want to have hair again.
