Title: More shaved heads this summer?
Post by: reddog on March 18, 2018, 10:11:33 AM
I just went to church and then to the gas station, and noticed at least 6 or 7 newly shaved heads. Easy to tell by the white scalp. Here in Minnesota we had our first 50 degree day of spring yesterday. Interesting that all the new headshavers were younger guys and gals by choice. Along with us regularly bald guys, and these new shavers, it could be the summer of sly guys!

Summer has just (supposedly) finished in Australia but it is still  very hot.  40+ degrees C in Sydney over the weekend which is about 105F and a record for autumn (fall).  100F in Canberra where I live.

I was watching the races - a big meeting on TV - on Saturday and many middle to older age men had shaved heads.  I had to go to a medical clinic last week and both me and the radiologist had shaved head and beard combo and the other two men - both in the older age group had shaved heads. Sign of the times!!

Interestingly many younger men sport beards and tattoos especially full sleeves are de rigeur.

It might have been a St Baldrick's fundraiser. that's usually around St Patrick's day.
