To be or not be...Bald / Re: Over the Hill with the Change

@cmac , you have a great looking head for wearing it shaved!

It took me six months or so to decide to stay bald. I grew it back several times, but after a few weeks really missed the look and feel, so the razor would come out! Every time I went back to bald, I would look in the mirror and think it looked great, and I've always loved how a freshly shaved head feels.

Just knowing that you're BBC, you can grow your hair back anytime you want, so keep shaving and enjoy it. If you get tired of it, you have choices. Sometime I let the top grow in and keep the sides/back shaved so I have a Marine style high and tight recon! It fun to try different looks, but always go back to a smooth bald head.

I let my hair grow for a couple of months three years ago.  I didn’t like the way hair felt on my head and didn’t like the way it looked.  I shaved it off and haven’t looked back since.

This past weekend I realized I can’t even imagine myself with hair anymore. I even had a friend who constantly asked when I was going to grow my hair back tell me that he could not imagine me with hair anymore. I felt like for a while I was struggling with feeling different by keeping my head shaved but something changed and now I just feel like a normal bald guy. When did you guys notice that change and fully adapt to being sly?

Thanks.

Head Shaving / Re: Cuts on head

@cmac witch hazel is nice. It doesn’t sting, and it’s practically a staple in barber shops. The nice thing about skipping a couple days of shaving is that you will get the smoothest shave ever. The razor has more to grab onto.

@Razor X & @slybeard I agree, a lot cooler with bald and beard.

@Razorhead Thank you, I am surprised I made it two months without but good to know I am not alone in knicking myself. Its gotta be a right of passage for all bald guys. I think I could skip a couple of days of shaving, gonna suck to not have it super smooth though. I will definitely be buying witch hazel. Thanks for the tip!

@reddog yeah I was in a rush and should have waited to shave. That is good advice about the finger technique. I don’t think I can go a week without shaving the top at this point, even though it would be satisfying. I have an OCD itch to keep it all clean shaven at this point and I am okay with that. Its great being a bald guy. Hopefully the cut heals soon.
