Just an observation, not that it is a suprise, but we seem top have less folks "taking the plunge" around the holidays which is understandable since folks get together w/ family and don't want a BIG shock factor.

What can we do about that Uga? Let me think ..let me think...lol   Its just funny to think about how people want to hide after they take the plunge because after about 2 weeks of it or so ....you know they are going to be telling theirselves ...I wish I had done this sooner.   Then after all the holidays are over with ..no one is around...and ya know...you are prolly only gonna see those people only for 1 day.  Really its not a big deal....if you like it..thats all that matters.  At least it will give everyone something to talk about...Right?  I did mine the week before July 4th and our town has a huge celebration at the park and I seen everyone.  I too was feeling like I wanted to hide in a way but after about an hour of it...it didnt seem to be that big of a deal to people. My wife kept getting aggreviated at me because I was stopping to talk to everyone who asked me why I did it.  In a way I wish i had it pre-recorded so all they had to do was hit play.  LOL

Noticed that too but it could also be that folks are so busy at this time of year that they aren't spending as much time on the old computer either.

I think it has to do with family's reactions, people being busy and not being able to gab on the computer and the fact of the colder weather...

Having a bald head is something a lot of dudes are curious about and want to know what it's all about...most wait until "perfect" conditions...

We'll get more newbies around Feb- Mar.... 8)

Yeah, it is a little lighter this month so far, but not too much.  We usually average around 80 members a month and we're at about 45 members for the month right now.  It will be interesting to see what January brings with people having their resolutions.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

New resolutions are flying through fence-sitters' brains like New Year's eve rockets. Let's see which will be realised!!

We wait for new sly guys.

Do you really think a lot of guys will shave their heads in the middle of winter?  I thought I was the only one who was crazy enough to take the plunge in January -- on a weekend when there was a snowstorm.  I always thought most people did it at the beginning of summer.  But I guess when the sly bug bites you, there's little you can do but succumb ....

And then when they get up the nerve after the holidays, they have to look at all of those bad hair pictures and wish they had done it sooner.
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

I would think the beginning of a new year will help give that extra boost of... I wanna change my life resolution. This should be a great time for us to promote the site seeing alot of us will be at different events and parties.
Lets just say if I found this site one year ago I would be celebrating my one year of sly in January instead of April  8)

I'm thinking it's more weather related myself.
