Shaving your Crack
« on: May 25, 2011, 06:46:41 AM »
No not that crack,

the crack on the back of your head!!

What do you guys do with big heads that have cracks/folds on the back of your head?

I find it difficult to get a good clean shave for my crack.

This morning I was in a rush and had to quickly shave in the shower.  If I had more time I usually tilt my head back and pull or push the skin on the back of my head to flatten out my crack and then shave it.

What do you guys do?

I think that tilting your head forward would work better.

I've tried tipping my head forward but the shape of my noggin doesn't really get any flatter...  the only thing that has worked successfully is tipping my head back and pulling the skin flat.....

HA! ok bigrock you suckered me in with that heading lol.

Well for me dealing with the "crack"  on the back of my head, I tilt my head forward press my finger onto the skin above it to make it even more taunt and slide the headblade up over the crack. It seems to work well for me.

I'm afraid I have no suggestions for shaving issues in the areas further south.  ::)

I've got the same problem, but I decided to just stop worrying about my crack.  8)

Gotta rock the handle. I don't have a "crack", but I have been a part of a big group during a mass head shaving "event" and have taken my turn in shaving other "cracks". When you are entering the rut, you gotta almost run the handle along the dome right before picking it right back up to go over the curb.
