Who else shaves around scars?
« on: September 12, 2010, 09:21:52 AM »
So I've been sly for over 3 years. Started out whacking it down with the clippers, but soon realized the electric shaver gave much better results. I was always afraid to go the razor route because of a large scar on the back where I can't see, but the past few months realized just how great a razor actually works on my dome. The tricky part as you can imagine is the back, usually I just put my fingers over the scar as a sort of guide and then have to whack some stubble down with the remington. Just curious as to how anyone else deals with this inconvenience.....
Here's what I'm talking about:

Wish it was that cool, but alas it was a baseball sized tumor that had to finally come out 21 years ago. That would make a more interesting story though  O0

The surgeon did a nice job.  Frankly you'll see scars less well executed by the butchers who advocate and sell hair transplants.  I have a couple of scars from skin cancers but they are totally flat or slightly below the surrounding skin level and my razor, an M5, skates right over them as did my Fusion before.
