Just wondering how long the sensor adaptors last on the ol' HB. I saw on the HB site that they say the adaptors last about 6 months but it wasn't clear if it was the yellow adaptor or the sensor adaptor.
My sensor excel double blades do stay on the adaptor but it just doesn't look like it will go to the 6 months mark.
What are other Sensor adaptor users' experience?

I've had my HB, with the Sensor adapter, for well over 6 months and it's still working pretty well.

I have had my Headblade S4 close to 3 years, and I've never had to replace the adaptor for the Atra blades. I don't know if I'm lucky or if it's unusual for the adaptors to break/wear out.

I got about 4 months out of one adapter until my wife dropped my HB and cracked it. The one I've been using has been strong for about 3 months and doesn't show any sign of faulting.

I used my first sensor adapter for about 7 months before I changed it. It could've went longer, but I wanted to see if there was a difference in the adapter when it's new... and wow, the difference was crazy. I got a much better shave with the new adapter. So I would recommend changing it once every six months. O0

Thanks for the info Cam, I'll have to get a new set of adapters sometime soon.

I had about 5 months on my sensor adapter when it developed problems holding onto the blade. The result was the blade would come off while I was shaving... got a few nasty cuts that way too :'(

Ok, it sounds like i am just being paranoid. Sounds like it should go the distance.

I hate using Sensor blades, they never want to stay on the adapter

I've gone through a pack of Sensor Excel cartridges. Now I am trying the Arta Plus razors. I want to see how they will do since they are a little more cost effective.
The sensors do look like they will fall off, but they haven't yet.

Sensor blades always feel like they're about to fall out, that's a product of their design.
