stay bald or not stay bald
« on: January 23, 2020, 08:59:55 PM »

I have a head full of hair, but I prefer to be bald, especially smooth.

I have the head to be bald, in your opinion?

Thank you for your answers

It looks great. Shaving a full head of hair can be a shock, and it is not unusual to second guess yourself at first.  I suggest you keep is shaved for at least 30 days before making a decision.

It also takes that long to really learn to shave it in a reasonable time.

thank you for your comments, it helps me a lot

I shave every day, and I really appreciate having a smooth head.

to be frank, i have always wanted to be bald since i was 16

a question for you, how did your first shave go?

You look good bald. If you like it you should keep it, everyone will get used to it in a short time.

My first headshave didn't go real good, but I shaved every day, so I learned what my shaving routine needed to be pretty fast.

Enjoy your new hairstyle, it sounds like you have wanted to be a baldie for a long time. Let us know if you have any more questions!

You have a very nice head of hair, but you really look good bald. It will be alot of work to maintain a shaved head, but it will be worth it.

What kind of reactions have you received? Quite a change. Something I think is cool, with a full head of dark hair, you have that shadow after shaving that says "yes, I have the balls to be bald by choice!

thank you for your compliment.

yes a lot of maintenance, but I really like the feeling of the smooth head.

not too much feedback at the moment, people are a little shocked, especially when he asks me if I'm going to leave and I answer that probably not ^-^

I do not consider the maintenance that bad when compared to what it takes to maintain other hairstyles.  Any style other than a buzz cut requires as much or more time for daily styling, shampooing, trips to a barber etc.  At least it did for me.  To me, shaving is an even trade-off once you have settled into a routine with it.

Welcome, Benjy! If you like it, that's all that matters, though the flattop looked pretty good too.

Soon people will get use to the new look , and all those questions will stop . You won’t feel self consciousness about it anymore. Just give it some time if you like the feel and look.
