Look more masculine and mature
« on: February 09, 2019, 02:08:08 PM »
As I've mentioned before, several former longhairs I know have shaved their heads. They all look much more manly without the hair. This always seems to be the case with shaved heads. Thoughts?

I agree with you, but a lot of guys do like their long hair.

Yeah, you look instantly more masculine, strong and intimidating when you shave your head smooth.

There are a few guys that can pull of a masculine look with longer hair, but not many of them.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

And I've known several girls that say they HATE long hair on guys, that they prefer short hair or none at all.

Long hair is cool if they keep it clean and styled well. And I think a LOT of women like it, probably more than like shaved heads. Much easier to sport a shaved head, and yes, more masculine looking.

I wonder what percentage of guys that keep their head shaved for a couple of months ever go back to hair? I know for me, I've tried to grow mine back numerous times, but always go back to shaving it. Shaved completely smooth just feels cleaner and we'll groomed!
Bald by choice, and loving it!

I prefer guys with short or none hair too, looks more clean.

Jason Momoa is big, muscular and have a very manly face, but with long hair is unattractive to me. Looks dirty and feminine.

Personally I never liked long hair and thought it was not masculine looking. To each his own.

Masculine/Feminine are fluid concepts and change over time.

Long hair, or short hair, beards or shaven faces, makeup or none (yep, men's makeup, it's a thing, and has been for centuries, if not millennia).

No shock here that the Sly folks find long hair on a man "dirty, and not manly", it's all about personal preference.

What is funny that the appearance can belie what is inside.

I tend to agree, as  I prob appear more 'manly' as a bald guy. And if I see someone, who's just gone our route, they always appear more masculine with a tight buzz or shaved head.

That said, attitudes in society are constantly changing. . .so the standard's of today may not be the standard of tomorrow.
