Introduction
Last night as I sat glued to my Tivo watching Veronica Mars I was thrilled to see Weevil show up. Lately the hunky hog riding bad boy from the hood has been MIA. Yeah Veronica has had her way with pretty rich boy Duncan and dallied briefly with Logan.Â
But the girl needs to wake up and see how hot Weevil is with his piercing but kind eyes, shaved head and riveting personality. So Veronica, you need to dump that dog Duncan and make beautiful magic with Mr. Weevil (Francis Capra).Â
In case you haven't noticed, females of all ages have been shifting their idea of what makes a man hot.  Women everywhere have learned that hair doesn't make the man. In fact, some hairstyles on men can be off putting. And yes, women would prefer that a man embrace his hair loss issues rather than hide behind a horrible comb over, cheap rug or poorly placed plugs.
Many women don't judge a book by its cover and thus don't really care if the man that they have chemistry with has a head full of curls or a completely bald head. A man who is confident, regardless of the amount of hair he has or doesn't have, is hot.

I used to think that only women over 30 had that opinion but even females in their teens have increasingly fallen for hotties with shaved heads.Â
Don't believe me? A recent poll which ran on the front page of at HairBoutique.com asked What Do You Think Of Bald Men?Â
The results were interesting but not all the surprising based on the feedback that I get from women on a regular basis.

Bald men who feel really good about themselves exude a sense of strength, confidence, passion and masculinity. Old wives tales state the men with no hair have had their strands burned off because of their overwhelming passion. Whether that is true or not, it adds to the mystique.
Of course, truth be told, women that find bald men sexy do not necessarily find all men sexy. Just as guys that adore blondes don't automatically go for all blondes. A key factor for many women is whether there is unique or significant personal chemistry with a man.Â
Unfortunately some bald men get caught up in the "women lie about liking bald men" routine. Yeah, some women may spout a white lie to a bald man about his hairless state. Just like some men will fib to women about the state of their tush and whether they really like her tattoo or not. That's just life in the mating jungle.
Love Yourself
I can't speak for all females in the Universe but I can speak for the many thousands of women that have emailed me over the years as well as many of my female friends. I can also speak for myself.Â
In my own history I have always gravitated towards men based on a wide range of factors (personality, brain power, sense of humor, charm, sensitivity...etc.) other than their hair. And yes, I have had my own hairless honeys.
The reality is that when all is said and done, a man's personality coupled with other attraction features will generally outweigh other features including bad hair, no hair or other less than perfect skin, teeth, ears, noses or other external attributes that fade into the background.
Just like some men only want babes with large chest measurements, long legs and perfect tush shapes, other men prefer women who are au natural, short or with a little extra meat on their bones.Â
Again, that chemistry word definitely comes into play. It doesn't mean that all women that aren't surgically enhanced won't find the man of their dreams nor does it mean that all bald men will strike out with women.
And yes, some females prefer men with fat wallets, flashy cars and a level of fame. Others want guys, hair or no hair, that are kind, treat them respect and love them through thick and thin. Go figure.Â
Summary
One truth is universal. Almost all women love men that are confident, secure and honest who go after what they enjoy in life.Â
Respect who you are and you'll just naturally feel good about yourself. A sense of pride and individuality is hot. Women are naturally attracted to men that radiate happiness. With or without hair.

;D ;D I never thought of myself as a hottie, but, since shaving myself totally bald, I can tell you that there is a positive correlation between a hairless dome and erotic allure. Shaving, particularly if it is a relational thing, can be extremely intimate. A bald man is upfront and honest; there is no nonsense about Fabio-style idealization. Moreover, caressing of the tight shaved head can be evocative. My wife of many years has paid more attention to me since I've gone chrome-dome than she has in a long time. Men need to reclaim their biological identity. That means bald heads, beards, and warrior-protector persona . Politcally correct be damned. Professor Melon

Just last Thursday I had a stripper go ape-sh*t over my head in front of my buddies (coworkers). She was so all-over my head (rubbing it), they all assumed she was an ex-girlfriend. When I fessed-up that I'd never seen her before in my life, they all looked shocked.

My last two serious relationships were with beautiful women who really enjoyed shaving my head for me. They both really liked that I trusted them to use a razor on my head and really enjoyed the process of shaving me once in a while. Very intimate, erotic even (I shave/get shaved in the shower).

I am a folkie too - I love all that stuff (really into Nic Jones, Martin Carthy etc) - You do a great version of "Star Of The County Down" - I play that too but with guitar backing (alas I am nowhere near as good a singer as you) Really like your Van Deiman's Land too. I am a drummer too!

I've had my share of run-ins with some strippers, too. A couple of friends, one of whom was from the army. I figured they would have been all over my soldier buddy. I was wrong. I was the only bald one. One after another would come up to rub my dome with their hands or other extremities. I just sat back with a big grin on my face and said, "you just gotta shave it off, fellas". I love being bald, and the ladies love it, too!

In my opinion, bald guys are special. It is quite hard to explain, but a shaved head (or very short hair) gives two positive impressions in the same time. Cool, easy-going AND lovely, sweet. At least this is the impression my boyfriend - and many of his friends - give.
I used to be fond of long-haired metal warriors, but my love and these friends of him convinced me that bald guys usually are much cooler than the mentioned metal warriors. :}

Of course yes! but you know it is always in the thoughts of a balding dude what the rest of the people will think of a new shaved head look, especially women. The results I have had so far have been far superior than I expected.

Remember - you stick out where ever you go. Started a new job 2 months. People remembered my name long before I could remembers theirs. Wonder why.

I've noticed that. The bartenders at nearly every bar I go to know me by name solely on the fact I'm the dude with the shaved head. I get the shiny head thing a lot as well. I go for the Head Slick Glossy and a good buff. ;)

It seems like every time I go out with my haired buddies to a bar, I always get free drinks from ladies who order me a drink. The bartender (a good friend of mine) said that they always say the same thing with slight differences which is "Make a __ drink for the hot bald guy over there and tell him it's from me", most of the time the ladies that pay for my drinks are rather attractive and my haired friends always get jealous that I never have to pay for my drinks and they always end up wasting money on drinks trying to get the hot chicks that dig bald dudes.

Mother's day there were three of us "baldies at the bar - -talking "bald talk" (shiny head, horseshoe -shaving lotion - blades etc. etc. ) and everybody around was was part of the conversation. Everybody loves a "BALD" guy and it is fun.
