Is anyone else having problems with a dark overplayed window that comes on when you try and read a post? Sometimes it's black sometimes a dark grey. Sometimes it has a x allowing you to close it but most often not?
In the top right hand corner there is a blue square and crown as in the list on the left but that sits just offf the screen.

RazorX reported something similar. I don't run anything on the site that does overlay ads that I'm aware of. What type of device and browser are you seeing this on.

I've had this happen, too. In my case, it only seems to happen when i use my iPad.

@laserman, its the same with me, the computer is fine but on my ipad it happens

I get this too.only on my iPhone and only if I view the page as a full site. If I switch to the mobile site the issue goes away

I happens when I'm on the full site with my iPad. Home screen opens fine, but usually the dark screen occurs when I click on a thread, within minutes of logging into the SBG site.

I just removed another piece of code from the site. I'm hoping that solves it, but I'm working blind so I have to rely on the feedback that you guys provide me.
Can anyone tell me when this started for them?

Ok, so I'm now able to recreate it on my laptop using the Inspect tool from Chrome. The problem that I'm having now is that I can't locate the code that is causing the issue. It's now 2 AM so I'm going to go to bed, but I will try to figure it out tomorrow.

@Magoo It turned out to be an ad that was coming through one of the ad networks that I was using. It was really tricky and only targeted iPads. It also compounded the issue when it would try to load 2 or more of the same overlay ads at the same time. This is why you guys couldn't close it.

@Tyler , I had asked my son about the problem , he works as a computer forensic tech and that was what he basically had said. Thanks for the fix.

The ad network has assured me that they've blocked the ad from showing up. If this happens again let me know and I'll pull the code.
