Title: Potatoes

I harvested some potatoes from my garden tonight.  First time with potatoes. How exciting. They were nice sized. Kennebec. Will have them for dinner Friday.

The soil in my raised bed is so loose that I could harvest by hand without digging up the whole plant.  Just burrow down by hand under the plant until I feel the tubors. 

Very interesting harvest.

Hi Dan:  Sounds like those potatoes are going to be delicious.  Keep us posted on how dinner goes tonite.
