Dessert:  Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated FINE Fresh Vetiver

Like always I had an incredible face and dome shave.  For those looking for a great badger brush that won't break the bank the Simpson Berkeley 46 is your brush.  It has great back bone and lathers like a machine.  If you haven't tried the FINE after shave splash... I highly recommend.  The FINE Fresh Vetiver is my favorite scent.

Since I got my Mongoose razor, I have been exclusively using it.  So, today I decided to try out one of my favorite
razors, the Weber DLC.   Glad that I did because I had a great face & dome shave today.

Handle: Welshi 9360C (the one I got from my mother for Christmas, to see pictures of it, check out the "Christmas Surprise From Mom" thread)

Blade: Voshkod
Soap: HeadSlick mixed with Shave secret
After Shave: Ice Cube/Club Pinaud (thanks Mr. Zed for the latter)

Take: This razor is pretty good.....I didn't have to finish it off with the skinnier handle Lord razor that Warhawk gave me a while back....Now I have a new DE in my rotation. For the new year, I will use a different DE each month and try to finish the job with that DE instead of "switching up" at the end.

the rest of my fellow chrome domes who use safety razors to be active also.  I am not going to call out any
names but you know who you are.  If any one is on the fence about safety razors, I encourage you to try

I have a new razor and a razor head on their way to me. I'll try and post then.

I injured my knee last week and have been hobbling around, feeling sorry for myself. Just had a very nice New Year's Eve dinner and had a great shave. Feeling much better!

The Gold Merkur was a birthday gift from my daughter and the Cella was for Christmas. She also gave me some Honest Amish Beard Balm which I also used after the neck and cheek shave.
