Oh as in just mail it to someone that wants it?

Haha that'd actually be very doable since I work for a shipping company.  If I decide I don't want it after a couple more test shaves, I can do that very economically for someone.

It's official.  I just had the best shave of my life!  Not a single nick, BBS, and very relaxing.  Absolutely zero irritation.  It's no coincidence that this incredible shave is a result of taking my sweet time (about 40 minutes including shower, head and face shaved).  I usually can't spare that much time for shaving, but when I can I hope to have results like this every time!

Razor: EJ de89
Blade: Astra SP
Brush: Vulfix badger
Preshave: Shower, apricot scrub, hot water, Shave Secret, more hot water
Soap: Tabac
Postshave: Cold water, witch hazel

I'm going to borrow BillOnBass's words here, but even more so as this has been my first DE shave ever as well! Much easier than I'd have expected and all in all an experience light years ahead of scraping at one's face with a disposable cartridge razor. Only downside is that at the end of it my bathroom looked like a foam party venue :D

The hardware:

Razor: Muhle R89
Blade: Derby Extra
Brush: Tweezerman
Soap:  Palmolive cream
Preshave: Hot water
Postshave: Cold water, alum block, Nivea AS balsam

Looks like I can finally say g'bye to the razor rash and folliculitis I've been saddled with since I started shaving... well better late than never. Seriously, a massive THANK YOU to all of you guys on this forum, most likely I'd never have got into this without reading your posts!  O0

Hey guys, glad to hear about the great shaves we're all having.  I tried out a great new soap today!

Razor: Merkur 28C
Blade: 7AM HP
Brush: pure badger, nothing special
Soap:  Queen Charlotte Soap: Esquire
Preshave: Hot water, Lucky Tiger face wash
Postshave: Cold water, Old Spice Classic after shave, Dove for Men face balm

Very smooth and comfortable shave.  Closest I've gotten with just two passes + touch up.  No irritation.  Soap was very interesting.  It is from a private vendor http://www.queencharlottesoaps.com/ and they make (so far) great hand made soaps.  It was a bit difficult to work up a good lather quickly, but once I did it was very worthwhile and lasted a quite a while.  Soap scent wasn't too overpowering and had a delightful mix of woody/citrus smells to my nose anyways.

Had an awesome shave today.  The big difference: using a shaving stick.  In combo with a new stainless shark blade (which I hadn't tried until today) it was pretty awesome!  The stick just made lathering so much more enjoyable and allowed me to really work it in!

Razor: Merkur 23C
Blade: Shark Stainless
Brush: Pure badger brush
Soap:  Tabac shaving stick
Preshave: Shower and hot water.  Lucky Tiger face wash
Postshave: Old Spice Classic after shave, Dove Men post shave balm

It's an Indian soap.  Someone mentioned it on badger and blade and I decided to pick one up on eBay.  Has a slight apple scent, but lathers up quickly and easily and does a really good job.

Only your first time with a stick? You've been missing out my friend! I love the Palmolive, Arko etc.  Easy to use, cheap, great stuff!  (Never tried Tabac stick but enjoy the soap in the ceramic pot.

Thanks mate,

I will look into it, an apple scent sounds interesting.

Same soap and brush today, Biotique with the Omega brush.  I also used Vitos pre-shave as well.
Today's razor was the non-folding Feather AC SS razor with a proguard blade.
Dessert was 444 balm with Bay Rum aftershave.
I've only recently discovered Bay Rum, so only have a cheapo brand, but I really love the smell, plus it lasts a while, which I also appreciate!
A great shave overall!

Hey Bluebriz, what kind of razor do you perform your head shaves with?

Hey,
I tend to use either the schick Extreme III which is really easy to use, the Gillette Guard, or the Headblade sport with Sensor Excel blades.  Of the 3 I prefer the Schick.
