hi all tomorow i have an job interview in casino as a dealer please share your thoughts ofcourse i am bald and i need help how to look like :)
-
I always go to my job interviews dressed as professional as possible. That means a suit, preferably black or blue, crisp white shirt, tie (nothing crazy, the simpler the better) and shined shoes. Doesn't matter if the environment ends up being casual, you want to look like you care and are taking the interview seriously. When I use to interview people, I've turned away guys for simply not wearing a tie. They may have had in a nice suit, clean shaven, etc, but no tie, no interview.
Obviously make sure that you've shaved your head that morning so that it's clean. If you have a beard, make sure it's trimmed and cleaned up. If it's stubbly, shave it off and go to the interview clean shaven. I've had to do that...I went for a job interview and had to have my bead and just kept the goatee because the area around the cheeks had not grown out yet. I grew out the beard once I got the job.
You want to make the best first impression on your job interview and that means looking as professional as you can.

wow this post was very helpfull thanks :)

I agree, always overdress for the position. Confidence is also a must. Good luck.
-
Glad I could help.
-
Good luck!

Good luck!
thanks harry :) i really need this job i think everything will be allright :)
-
Like the others have said, dress well and look sharp. I will add answer questions with confidence, and add examples that include what you did and the results.
-
Ditto: a clean PRESSED shirt and tie is a must for any job interview. It tells the Boss that you respect him and that you want the job enough to care about little details like a pressed shirt. The interviewer WILL notice!
-
thanks i am sure all of your advices will halp me :)
-
A firm handshake makes an impression and good eye contact is important, too. Knock 'em dead and let us know what happens!
-
I agree with the gentlemen before me. A conservative business suit or at least a dress shirt and tie are the best attire for just about any interview. It tells the interviewer that you are serious about the job.
Let us know how it goes.

my interview got moved to Sunday so i have more time for preparing :) i m nervous little bit and motivated same time ::)
-
Some extra preparation time doesn't hurt. Give you some time to research the company, or casino in this case, so that you know a little something about them. Never hurts to be overprepared and ready.
-
I agree with the gents here especially considering the sort of work you are applying for. You want to show up as crisp, responsible and professional looking as possible. Have a two piece suit? Wouldn't hurt either.
I find I have shown up over dressed for a few interviews I have had when looking for work and while a joke or two may have been made at my expense at the time (more likely after getting the job) it certainly hasn't hurt. There are different types of jobs that certainly don't reauire it though, when I am applying for oil and labour based jobs in Alberta I don't think I'll don the 3 piece and bow tie for example hahaha
Good luck dude!!

Wow, what a beautiful place!
There you see; your freshly shaved head, your freshly pressed shirt and your refreshing attitude has landed you a really good job!
I don't know how it works in Georgia, but in most places that I know of a dealer can make a lot of money in tips - especially if they are as good looking and friendly as you are. I really congratulate you Slybald!

Congratulations brother!

Congratulations! How was the first day?
Itwas interesting but very hard I was very tired at the end of day
-
I've found that true. First day on a new job is very tiring. So much new stuff.
Also, first day of training a new guy, is hard for the trainer. You have to do all your work and talk through it all with the new guy.
Hope you enjoy the job as you get into it.
