First, let me give a big welcome to Pablo.  Looking good, Bro!

Regarding my shaving routine, I try to do the shower.  If not then I do the sink.  Either way, I make sure my head's wet with hot water.  Then:
(I sometimes will apply St Ives Apricot Scrub to get dead skin off).
1.  I apply my shave stuff with a brush; I mix in Shave Secret shave oil to make the shave smoother.  I've been using Nivea shave gel, however may start going with soaps.
2. Apply my Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide, head first of course.
3. Rinse.
4. Witch hazel at times.  However I can apply additional shave oil to condition.
5. SPF-rated cocoa butter oil in the summertime.

I find the shower shave gives me a more "baby butt" smooth shave.

I have to agree, I've started shaving by feel in the shower every day this week and it definitely does feel like it's a smoother shave.  I've been saying that maybe the steam from the shower helps with this.

Little red spots. Would Bump Patrol help with those?

I domed for the first time recently, and just winged it without doing any technique research.
First used a clipper without a guard to get as close as possible, then took as hot a shower as I could stand it to open the pores, then shaving cream, and went front to back on top, then bottom to top on back.  A few cuts but not too bad.  Seemed very tender / soft on top on either side of the top 'ridge'.

It gets easier and easier the more you do it. And the nicks become less frequent. Shaving my head has become a relaxing and enjoyable activity. Enjoy!

I used my braun today and then did a wet shave too! Found it very easy. The Braun is superb but obviously a wet shave is the closest! Just hoping i can keep it up every day as it has been nearly 2 weeks come wednesday that i have shaved continuously. The Braun is the reason for that.

I recently changed my routine, I now use my Microtouch one safety razor to shave my head. It's light enough that I don't need to worry about the pressure causing any nicks or cuts. It's a relaxing and smooth shave and it takes less than 5 minutes to get a BBS shave.

Blimey, even with the Braun i can spend ages shaving the dome!

This morning i did the shave, going over several areas numerous times. Even after i applied Bump Patrol and moisturiser i still found a couple of rough patches i had to re do!

I didnt use the blade this morning, just the Braun. I get quite obsessive with any rough patches that i can feel.

I can concur that rough patches I tend to obsess over too. I think it's the nature of shaving, you want it to be smooth and feel great, not all rough like someone stuck 400# sandpaper to your head!  ;D

Well into my 4th year of head shaving, I have settled on a standard shaving routine.

1) Rinse the scalp with warm water for 30 seconds
2) Apply Cremo Shaving Cream
3) Shave against the grain with a Schick Xtreme3 razor
4) Rinse the shaved scalp for 30 seconds with cold water
5) Pat dry with a towel
6) Apply Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel

The process takes about 8 minutes at the bathroom sink.  The aloe vera gel gives my shaved head a great non-greasy shine that lasts all day.

Mine is pretty close to jimbo48's but I think the difference in time is related to him being on the 4th year and me being on the 3rd month.
1. Shower and wash head with St. Ives Apricot scrub to defoliate.
2. Towel dry and then get sink of very hot water.  Take washcloth and soak scalp as I get my materials ready.
3. Dampen head again and apply Cremo shave creme.  Just a touch.
4. Shave against the grain with Headblade ATX.  My lower neck is with the grain as it is way to sensitive still.
5. Rinse with hot water to remove any shaving lotion.
6. Final rinse 2x with cold water
7. Splash with witch hazel
8. Cover with Niva sensitive after shave lotion
9. treat any cuts.

Shave head every other day though quite prickly by the end of the 2nd day.  I'll splash on Witch Hazel before bed to clean things up.  I used some cotton balls one time and it's amazing how dirty your head can get just walking around.
