well for me it's a bit complicated but what a close shave..mix of Gillette sensitive shaving gel, headslick, and massage oil

take the shaving bowl,
add some gel, wip it up good,
then add some Head slick.. wip it again..

add some massage oil.. wip it real good.. ( the massage oil I get form Dollar Rama..)..

wet my head and apply with brush...

once I've shaved my head.. I reaply the remaining of the mixture and go for a second pass..

As I've said before I had given the Neutorgena Razor Defense line a try as I have done so many others.  I'm just on the hunt for that perfect balance of a routine for myself.  The bad part is that I've probably spent way too much money that I don't have testing all these products out.  I had also said that I would probably go back to my old brand which was Nivea for Men Gel and after balm.  Last night I was in the store and came across one I had never noticed before.  It's in a blue bottle and it's called Nivea Moisturizing shave gel.  I brought it home to check it out and it really does give a good slick shave.  It has some ingredients in it that helps keep it moist on the dome while shaving.  Other than HeadSlick I have always had a problem with my gels drying up before the shave was over.  But this one worked really well.

I like the shaving cream bettr, you can use less of it than gewl, and I recently just tried using shaving oil, and I like that too. Dont know if I like it better than the cream, I think it is a tie between the two.

Back before I became a devotee of HeadSlick I prefered the shaving gel over the Cream.  Just alot less mess and it lubes the dome better.
Peace

no shaving cream or gel here, just stand under the running water and shave.  I get a very close shave and I get no bumps.  After I always apply aloe or another lotion containing vitamin e works great.

I've seen KoS shaving gel at Albertson's. I am curious to try that stuff once the free sample arrives in the mail. Anyone here in the USA got their sample yet?

I haven't gotten mine yet either but I won't be using it if it does finally come because I went ahead and bought some a while back to try it out and it just wasn't for me.  Regular baby oil under the HeadSlick works great.  No irritation, no nicks, and smooth shaving.  The best part is that it keeps the dome moisturized the whole day.  For some people it may feel a little too oily afterwards but it doesn't bother me.  The other thing is that it hasn't clogged my pores at all and I have been using this method for a few months now.  I was worried it would being baby "oil" but no problems.

Lance, I used the baby oil today under my HeadSlick and it really seemed to help with the irritation towards the base of my head and at the start of my neck.  Thanks for the suggestion  O0

I had used all of the typical shave "gels" in the can which foam up as soon as you press the button and still had irritation every time I shaved. I was frustrated so I had our chemists create a very slick shave gel that does not foam. The result was a really smooth shave with no irritation. Bald Guyz Shave Gel will allow you to get a real close shave and leaves your skin very smooth. In fact because it is so lubricated it reduces the friction between the skin and the razor which actually lets you get more shaves from your blade. No matter what razor you use, you will definately get a closer and less irritating shave with our shave gel.
