I think you look really good! Odd head shapes abound, but it's all about you owning it. If you wear it confidently, it will work out really well.
Bald definitely looks better than balding in this one chick's opinion.

Do you think I should stick with my hair for the time being though? No one knew I was balding, just thought I'd try something different.

what's wrong with the shape of your head? It looks perfectly fine to me !
whether you should let your hair grow or shave it slickweek is totally up to you. well I can't make a definitive decision based on this is one photo it does look to me like your hair loss is pretty advanced of people probably noticed it more than you thought .
but what matters is what makes you happy. if you're having trouble letting go of your hair well then I guess you better keep trying to coax it along. But, on the other hand, if you want to get the monkey off your back and not have to worry about it anymore - break out the razor!

Semi-sly has nailed it. your head shape is great. From that one photo, it is obvious that you do have some hairloss, but thats OK. do what makes you happy/confident.

Not to be repeating what others said, but I agree that the shape of you heard looks fine; no worries.
In my opinion, you look good with the buzz cut and probably would look good bald but also would look good with longer hair. So, at this point, it's a win/win/win situation: you could keep it like the photo, or shave it, or grow it - it will look fine any choice. Enjoy having the options and go with which ever meets your preference.

A 'near perfect headshape' is good enough for me, cheers to the rest of you! I will be growing my hair back out and won't be going this short again unless I really have to. Thanks guys!
